(MNGi) Online Editor Created timely and unique web sites, including updating and maintaining daily content supplied from newsrooms, wire services and other sources in an accurate and timely fashion and was the main liaison with NENi newsrooms. Facilitated unique and interactive online content on NENi sites: www.berkshireeagle.com, www.thetranscript.com, www.benningtonbanner.com, www.reformer.com. Ensured that NENi Websites incorporated the MNG Interactive Strategy and the MNGi Content Standards of Performance into each site. Was the face of interactive in the newsrooms, responsible for building relationships with the editors and reporters and attending budget meetings. Role was to suggest and guide online and interactive story-telling. Kept both the editorial management and NENi Interactive and MNGi management informed on all site content developments and issues, traffic successes and failures and top stories. Made sure that all stories published in the print editions appeared on the Web sites. Ensured that all deadlines were met and managed the presentation of the content on the sites. Established all procedures needed for material to flow smoothly and trained newsroom staff as needed to ensure procedures were followed.
